I have recently started doing my front door makeover... Something was missing so I picked up some planters from Wegman's, two box woods from Costco, and some new paint from Home Depot, and spray paint from A.C. Moore. Not totally loving the front door paint color. I'm going to repaint it because when the sun shines (heavy sun on the front of the house) on it it turned out not the color I was looking for. Oh well, the planters look great with the box woods in them and my FAVORITE part is that I spray painted the front door lights this really nice textured spray paint by Rustoleum and they look really good. Check out the texture in the paint its speckles of black and bronzy brown I'm in love with this spray paint. They are still drying in this picture so they look a little uneven. One can was enough for the two front lights but, I have to get one more to complete painting the one by the garage! The bright sun had faded them to a dull silver. I 'll show you some pictures and hopefully soon the rest of it will be done once I decide on a new paint color for the front door. What do you think??? Let's do a front door makeover together and send me your pictures!
The shutters will be painted whatever color the door ends up being!
