Wicker Furniture Makeover
We Went to visit Grammy for spring break and while I was there we were both feeling crafty so we purchased some new outdoor fabric at Joann's for her wicker chairs on her patio. The chairs are quite old they were her Parents. The fabric that she had on it before was a pretty blue and white gingham but, it was not meant for outdoors and it faded in the florida sun!
Here are some after pictures and steps along the way. I didn't take the before pictures because I didn't think about it until my brother suggested taking a few for my new blog...Thank you Great idea Stephen! All you have to do is purchase a heavy duty staple gun which we purchased in Joann's Fabric store cut and measure and staple along the bottom. We didn't get fancy or anything with sewing just tuck, fold, and staple! Waaa-LLLaaaaa! Pretty cushions redone-- I love the colors Lime green and chocolate brown nice and summery. I even made her some no sew coordinationg pillows. I really don't sew (yet) so I hot glued them together around the seams and picked a matching trim which was also hot glued on. I didn't get to finish all of the pillows for Mom so she will have to finish or wait for the next visit. Love my Mom she thinks everything I make is so pretty :) xoxoxo
