Polar Bear Plunge

How  was your weekend? We had a great time we went to visit Uncle Eddie at the Special Olympics Polar Bear plunge in LongBranch , NJ. What a crazy group of people there! Jumping in the freezing cold water on a drizzly day on Saturday, yet it is all for a good cause. Money they raise goes to special olympics training facility. It was our first time being a spectator this event and it was grat fun to see eveyone dressed up in ther crazy outfits. There was a bride and her bridal party, mardi gras groups, cowboys, a drummer, the pope, tons of funny people dressed up. I'll show you some pictures of the event. Maybe, I can get our family to do it next year...we'll see. Everyone that came rushing ou of the water looked so happy and rejuvenated running out of that freezing cold water! We also stopped in a pastery shop while we were there and yum we had the prettiest and tastiest macaroons from Cake,Bake, and Roll. They have a new baker and she baked all of this yumminess in the store I was amazed! They make beautiful cakes too we'll have to try one for our next special occasion. It's really  art work-- baking and decorating and they have so much to choose from. I can't wait to go back!
