If you haven't tried Harry & David's pears you should definitely give them a try while they are on sale up to 50% off. The Oregon grown pears are beautifully packaged in a decorated box, each one in their own compartment in tissue paper and a foam padding on the top and bottom of the box so nothing gets squished and they arrive perfectly. One is wrapped in gold foil, pretty fancy! As Harry and David the two brothers that started the company 80 years ago used to say Pears "So big and juicy, you eat them with a spoon!" The taste is sweet and extra juicy. They even included a picture recipe card, which I will make, it is for a nice pear salad! I sent this out as a gift and the recipients were very happy. Enjoy!
