Easter Basket Redo Made for You

While I was combing the isle of our little St. Peter's thrift store I was looking to see what I can decorate and make over for the front window! Well, here is a 'lil pile of natural baskets on the floor that need a some extra love. So, off you go baskets into my trunk for a makeover - after all a little makeup goes a long way said someone.

A quick stop at Home Depot to pick up some cans of spray paint and off to my garage we go! I applied three coats of spray paint to the baskets and let each coat dry about thirty minutes sprayed tops then sprayed bottoms so, it took me two days to completely paint them.

I picked up Rust-oleum Painter's Touch paint+primer ultra cover spray paint in Satin Aqua, Candy Pink gloss, SpaBlue gloss, Lemon Grass Satin.

After all of the baskets were dry I hot glued some ribbon on them and tied some bows and hot glued them on. I'm really excited how they turned out! It's fun to get crafty and make these with the kids and let them decorate them with bunny ears and cotton balls for tails or their favorite ribbon colors to match their bedroom.

If you don't feel like making your own stop by St. Peter's thrift shop in Freehold, NJ and you can purchase these lovelies!
