Blogging Media Kit

I recently went to my first blog conference, Type A Parent in Walt Disney World, Florida and had a great time meeting new bloggers and helpful topics in the blogging world. One of the items that I put together before my trip was a Media Kit. It is a short and sweet snap shot of your blog statistics, head shot, bio and other important information you might want to include such as important information and history your blog has been thru such as newspaper or other big happening going on. You will also want to update your media kit quarterly to change your stats.

Your media kit is a nice presentation to hand to any prospective companies that you want to work with. If you are into art make it creative like your art work and try adding your blog button or blog header to your media kit. Matching colors/fonts/graphics and following your branding through to your Media Kit looks professional.

This is my first Media Kit that I have done and I am happy to share it with you. If your like me and have not yet mastered photoshop yet I had assistance from Designs by Kassie She designed my media kit for me and I love the way it turned out!

After Designs by Kassie set up the art work for my business cards she emailed a Jpeg file back to me and I ordered them from Vistaprint.com by uploading the design on the jpeg file.
