If you buy any electronics, clothing, groceries, baby items, everything in the store(except pharmacy) you receive 5% off when you use your Target Red debit card or Target Credit Card plus you can use any manufacture coupons and target coupons on their website. Target Mobile coupons are for your smart (cell) phone and you can load the target coupons automatically on to your phone by signing up on the target.com website here, and you just have to scan them at the register for instant savings. No clipping coupons necessary.
Benefits of the Target Red Card would be 5% savings in store and on line, free standard shipping to the US & Puerto Rico, and an additional 30 days on returns. They also have a smart phone app called Cartwheel which loads the target coupons automatically and you just have to scan them at the register for instant savings.
So, what is Cartwheel you want to know? Well, I am here to help! and no, you don't have to do a cartwheel in the store! You would simply download the free Android or I Phone and Ipad app. from your smart phone and you would choose from hundreds of offers with discounts ranging from 5%-50% off every area of the store. Just add the offer to you Cartwheel list, you can select up to ten at one time, scan your barcode in the store and the savings begin! If you don't have a smart phone yet you can print the barcode with discounts from your home computer also.
Target has a pharmacy app as well where you can register and every five prescriptions you fill you will receive a 5% off shopping pass for the day and I think you can combine the two, the Target red card debit or charge card and the 5% shopping pass for the day. For the month of April Target has double points at the pharmacy each fill scores double the points and you can link your family up together to accumulate points! Now that's painless!
Now for the biggest bonus of all, which I why I really wanted to write about this post is because so many people don't know that 5% of your purchase gets donated to a school of your choice that adds up to be a big donation to your local school and can help them purchase much needed supplies. I am really excited to see that the total donation to our middle school is over $4,000.00 in total since the program started. So far this year it is approx. $600.00 with 20 people signed up, if more people signed up for this program we could have quite an amazing donation going on to our schools! (I am sure I put a big dent in that number since I shop there a lot!)
I notice this week Hanes underwear and socks are on the cartwheel app so if you need to stock up you can add the coupon from cartwheel. They change the products on cartwheel and put new discounts up frequently so at the bottom of each discount it tells you how many more days you have to use that discount.
